One moment in time…

Everyone has to start somewhere. The picture shows our first attempt to make our own gin on 14 April 2013. It wasn’t a classically distilled gin, but rather what is known as a “bathtub gin”, which means the botanicals are merely macerated in alcohol. We have affectionately dubbed it “the original brew”.

We’ll be honest: it tasted awful. But suddenly the thought of creating our own gin didn’t seem quite as outlandish, even though we had no real intentions of doing so at the time It was nothing more than a private experiment, motivated by curiosity and the fun of it. Nonetheless, that brew was without a doubt the cornerstone of our success story. #neverforgetwhereyoucamefrom
